Our Impact

Every goat fed, every volunteer hour, every donation, and every community partnership helps refugee families rebuild through farming, food access, training, and hope.

Building Hope Through Farming

Utah Refugee Goats is more than a farm. It is a place where refugee families reconnect with meaningful work, cultural traditions, food systems, animals, and community support.

Impact on Refugee Families

Many refugee families arrive after losing homes, farms, livestock, and opportunities. Our farm provides a place where people can reconnect with land, animals, practical skills, and community.

Refugees participate in feeding goats, caring for chickens, building fencing, learning animal husbandry, supporting events, and helping grow the farm together.

These experiences help restore dignity, confidence, leadership, and a sense of belonging.

Programs Creating Impact

Our work combines farming, education, sustainability, food access, and community engagement.

Poultry Training

Refugee families learn poultry care, feeding systems, egg production, coop maintenance, and sustainable farming practices.

Goat Grazing Services

Eco-friendly weed control projects help sustain the farm while providing practical training and animal care experience.

Community Education

Schools, churches, volunteers, and families visit the farm to learn about refugees, farming, animals, and resilience.

“The farm gives refugee families more than animals and land. It gives people a place to rebuild confidence, community, and hope for the future.”

Growing Through Challenges

Our farm has experienced difficult moments, including the loss of chickens to avian flu and goats being stolen, which deeply impacted the refugees who cared for them.

Despite setbacks, the support of volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community partners has allowed us to continue rebuilding.

Every fence repaired, every animal fed, and every training opportunity created represents resilience and community support.

Community Support Makes This Possible

Our impact grows because people choose to support refugee families through donations, volunteering, sponsorships, grazing projects, and farm visits.

Volunteers

Volunteers help feed animals, repair fencing, clean spaces, support events, and keep the farm moving forward.

Donors & Sponsors

Donations and sponsorships provide feed, poultry rebuilding, fencing, supplies, and refugee training opportunities.

Community Partners

Schools, universities, churches, nonprofits, businesses, and care groups help strengthen the mission through partnership and support.
