Transforming Land into Opportunity. Changing Lives Every Day.

What began with a small group of determined refugees and a handful of goats has grown into something far greater—a place where skills are built, food is produced, and hope is restored.

On 87 acres of donated land donated Rio Tinto, refugees are not just surviving—they are building sustainable futures.

We measure success by lives changed, skills built, and communities strengthened.

❤️ Stories of Resilience

At the heart of our farm are stories of courage, determination, and life-changing impact.

Every day, refugees who once depended entirely on aid now wake up with purpose—feeding animals, collecting eggs, and building something of their own.

🌾 Economic Empowerment

Our farm is more than a place of learning—it is a source of income and independence.

Through the sale of manure, farm products, and agritourism experiences, refugees are able to:

  • Earn income
  • Support their families
  • Reduce reliance on external aid

We are building a model where dignity comes from work, not dependency.

🐓 Skills That Last a Lifetime

We believe the most powerful form of support is knowledge.

Refugees on our farm receive hands-on training in:

  • Goat care, breeding, and health management
  • Poultry farming for egg and meat production
  • Practical farm skills like hoof trimming, fencing, and land preparation

These are skills they carry with them for life—skills that can create opportunity anywhere.

🌍 Strengthening Community

🌱 Sustainable Future

We are committed to growing in a way that protects the environment and strengthens our impact.

  • Organic manure improves soil health
  • Farm waste is repurposed to reduce loss
  • Plans are underway to introduce Black Soldier Fly farming for sustainable animal feed

Sustainability ensures that what we build today will last for generations.

🚀 Looking Ahead

Our journey is just beginning.

We are working to:

  • Expand poultry production
  • Increase the number of refugees trained
  • Grow income-generating opportunities
  • Scale sustainable farming innovations

With every step forward, our impact multiplies.

🤝 Be Part of the Impact

Every goat raised, every egg collected, and every skill learned represents a life moving forward.

You can be part of this transformation.
Support our work by donating, visiting the farm, or starting a project with us.

Together, we are not just farming—we are building futures.

What refugees say!

Makay Omar Trainee

Before coming here, I did not know how I would support my family. At Utah Refugee Goats, I learned how to care for goats and chickens, and now I feel confident that I can build my own small farm. This place gave me hope.

Khadija Mahdi Trainee

The training changed my life. I gained real skills, but more importantly, I found a community that supports me. I am now working toward starting my own business with what I’ve learned.

Khadija Abdi Trainee

This farm is more than training—it feels like home. I’ve learned how to raise animals, produce food, and plan for my future. I am proud of what I can do now.
